We’ll use transactional analysis to understand how we relate to ourselves and each other, and how this affects our behaviours and position in life. Transactional analysis works on the assumption that:
- Everyone is important and equal
- Everyone can think
- Everyone is capable to be the best that they can be without limitations
- We all make our own decisions and decisions can be changed
During the psychotherapeutic process, people can make changes to the limited beliefs preventing them from leading a happy and fulfilled life.
Beliefs like “I am not good enough” or “I’ll never be happy” can be challenged and new, healthier beliefs can be adopted.
